Studio Visit: George Neradilek,

George developed his creativity into making useful yet beautifully designed wooden objects. He moved on to try his hand in other forms of art, including painting, and landscaping. The pond he has built in his garden is constructed with large rocks and decorated with colourful wooden objects. The fence behind his studio, features whimsical characters. In fact, his sense of humour is evident in many of the pieces he creates. His boutique Arti Meubles features a myriad of items sculpted of wood: bowls, lamps, candle-holders, card holders, mobiles, rocking chairs, chests, tables, cutting boards, plant-containers, framed mirrors and a host of other attractive items. He designs doors, stairways, tables and chairs, armoires and china cabinets, all done in a manner that brings out the beauty of wood.

The woodwork in the house built by George fascinated me right from the start. The walls, the stairway, the sculpted door, the furniture, the cupboards, everything beautifully designed.		This photo was provided by George Neradilek.
