visit to Simon's garden on a hot summer day is
definitely refreshing.

be missed.

Metal sculptures in the water garden. |

The passage leading to the garden is a gallery of
numerous wooden sculptures that show a healthy sense of
humour, at times satiric. There are also carved
animals that are tenderly crafted and minutely finished,
and some items that combine wood and metal. Useful
and decorative creations are displayed on wood and stone
walls that Simon built himself, as well as on tables and
shelves of furniture that he builds. |

BRAVO SIMON! |

26 July 2006

François received us with a smile, happy to show his
vast collection of original wood sculpted objects as
well as those combined with metal. He said that he
decided to achieve excellence in his creations.
The furniture he makes is superbly finished. All
the designs are his own and a keen sense of humour is
evident in many of his creations.
He has built his own house and everything in it,
while working full time. Now he concentrates on
his art, making exclusive furniture and decorative
objects. |

The entrance passage is made with an interesting
stone wall. A new piece of furniture displayed
right there. |
