Hang in There!  A three-dimensional painting/collage.

Joy s  new artwork combines collage, stamping & painting, books, cards, sets of tags and more.  Joy pays a lot of attention to detail and everything is meticulously executed.  She is finding new techniques and materials and enjoys discovering new ways of expression.

Joy's boxes are minutely painted.  Joy always does something, even while watching TV, she is knitting.  Before I left, she gave me one of her knitted dish-rags, which was simply too pretty - so I use it as a doily.

Joy loves what she does.  She uses acrylics, however, lately she started to paint with oil, as demonstrated in the item she shows here.

I visited this studio before Route des Arts.  Joy has many lovely items.  She paints on boxes, small furnishings and decorative figurines and pictures.  She also makes dolls.  There are many decorative, useful items in her studio.
