Finally got most of the painted bisque fired in February.  A few more awaiting 2nd firing.

November 2007:  Despite the fact that I shall still do some drawings and prints.  I found a new outlet which is captivated me.  Maria Teresa Ronca is teaching me her techniques.

Basically, once you mould the object by hand, it is straight forward painting on the green (non-fired clay)  or on bisque (kiln-fired) small and hard to reach areas but instead of creating a mere decorative object, it can also be a useful utilitarian object.   Here are a few examples on their way to the kiln.  More to come!

In January 2007, I had a chance to try encaustic on Mylar, at Dominique Normand's studio in Morin Heights.

More to follow on this technique.....working on illustrations for a fable....

Also for the 2006 Route des Arts I worked on an installation of  painted Clementine boxes.

This is in t "Image On" from old photos of my mother. 2006

Sometimes a one-minute drawing pleases me more than the longer ones. May 2006.

March 2005 in Costa Rica.  sketched all those wonderful flowers.
