We went to Trois Rivières to see a Solo Exhibition of prints by Frédérique Guichard. The Exhibit's title was "À mot couverts" - a word play which does not lend itself for translation very well. In essence the images are of place settings used for meals where people talk, yet do not really communicate (they don't reveal much).

These are some of Frederique's prints, done in various print techniques, at her Solo Show.	Frederique took the time to explain it all to Debbie Risborough.
Frédérique and Marcel only moved to Trois Rivières less than a year ago. However, they found their place quite fast. Frédérique is a member of the Board of Directors of Presse-papier, and Marcel joined the board of Le Sabord. Marcel also takes communication/writing courses at the University.	An Egg Tempera in the studio.	Ursulines Street in Three Rivers.	This is a silk-screened book that Frederique won a prize for. I have put the text (also silk screened in one colour) separately. (No Photos here yet). Frederique also made a beautiful bound book cover for this collection of prints. Only 4 sets were printed. Frederique started off trying to look into her ancestry and somehow wondered off to Indian inspired images. I shall try to translate this at a later date.
